GEO Defense – Hard Level 2: Angular View
Here is my strategy for Hard Level 2: Angular view for the iPhone game GEO Defense
- I started with the three laser towers and the vortex tower, upgrading them all to level 3
- Then I added the three shock towers
- With those in place I began placing missile towers along the top first, then the left side, then the right side
- With all the missile towers in place I started upgrading everything
- Get the lasers to lvl 7, remember to continue upgrading the shock and vortex towers as well
- I finished with most of my missile towers achieving lvl 4

This was one of the final levels because I was stuck on it for the longest time as well! I wasn’t having any luck spreading firepower to the lower half, so I knew I just had to concentrate it up at the top.
I just saw this, I succeeded with a similar strategy today after 11 days of trying on and off. the 3 lasers at the corner , a lot of missiles and a few shock towers, I tried to keep them in the upper quadrant as well. didn’t use any vortexes.

How did you get three shock towers, two missile turrents and a vortex inside that triangle. I am having trouble placing the pieces accurately enough to do it…

I having completed all the stages in this level months ago apart from Angular View I had almost given up, but started on it again this week. I ended up using a slight adaptation of your strategy Tim with 4 laser towers, the first 3 in the positions you described but one more below the home base on the righthand side firing up the diagonal and only one missle tower inside the triangle. I think I might be able to sleep tonight!

Wow! so I too tried numerous times with the above approach. Failed time and time again but always easily made it to wave 29-30.
I finally changed the order of upgrading and it made ALL the difference. To test it I tried the below approach 2 more times. Went 3/3 so can’t be a fluke after going 0/xx using previous upgrading methods.
So here’s an in-depth approach after you’ve placed the missiles and fully upgraded the lasers:
On the right side of the triangle upgrade the top three missiles and everything inside the triangle (missiles/shocker) to lvl 3 with equal concentration.
Then upgrade all the right side and inside of the triangle with the same level of intensity, meaning turning the right side top missiles to lvl 4 while the other right side missiles to lvl 2. Just start clicking away evenly.
Once you have the right side top three missiles and inside the triangle to lvl 5-6 only then start upgrading the left side missiles.
On all 3 attempts a creep or two still made it through on wave 29-30, as soon as one breaks beyond the lasers, pop the vortex and give more attention to the bottom triangle.
Quickly place 3 shockers in the bottom triangle, one line of missiles on the right side, one line on the left side. At this point there shouldn’t be any creeps at the bottom as the one creep that breaks through gets blasted by missiles on the way down or gets blasted by the bottom right side missiles. (just timing to divert your attention)
Place more on the bottom left and upgrade the bottom left side until its over. The last step is more of a precaution. For the most part the creeps are done before they get close to home. Works like a charm.
Note: 0 upgrades to the top missiles.

I got it ages ago and then deleted the game – just reloaded it and tried this level again but to no avail – until you showed me – I tried to sleep that night but the joy kept me in a laser induced semi coma. Thanks alot
