GEODefense Swarm: Medium Level 3 – Y Me?
This is my strategry for the medium level 3, Y Me?, for the iPhone game GEODefense Swarm.
I finally beat this level, but lost most of the lives. I tried to follow Jeff’s advice and made a slight modification.
- Place two laser towers in the center of the Y
- Place two laser towers on the edge
- Place two shock towers
- Upgrade everything as much as you can
My strategy has been to upgrade everything evenly, but the key to this level might be to put more power on the right side. I think the two laser towers in the center are critical since they can both hit each wave of creeps equally. However, the next to last wave are the slow, yellow creeps so you don’t need quite as much firepower on the left side to take care of them. The last wave are the red squares and a lot of them, so you need more firepower on the right side to try and take care of those. These are just my thoughts… I hope it can help someone figure this one out without losing any lives!

this was a tough one. I built four laser towers, two in the middle of the Y, so they could hit guys as they entered, and then two on the bottom hitting guys as they came out of the Y. Balance between upgrading those towers and adding a few more.
I could not complete this without losing some lives.

ALRIGHT I got this!!! no lives lost, you do your strategy. Put the two laser towers at the y in, then right above the y put a missile tower thingy, then the next wave upgrade it twice, but during that wave you have to place your bottom right laser tower. then you can add the rest and upgrade and such and you will lose no lives. getting the missile tower up to the yellow missiles that can re lock on help, but they aren’t necessary for a few rounds.
