Flight: Take off and fly to the west.  You’ll see Rapid City on your right.  In about 3 minutes you’ll pass one highway going straight south, and a highway after that going south west.  You want to follow the highway going southwest at a heading of 220.  After 7-10 minutes you’ll see Mount Rushmore on your right.  Turn around and head back to the airport at a heading of 30.

Flight: take off and turn to the right to a northerly heading.  Fly for about 10-15 minutes and you’ll run into it.  Make a 180 degree turn and head back to the airport just in time for lunch.  You know you’ll be getting close to the airport when you see Keyhole Reservoir.
